About the Role

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships for Quantum AEP.

This role combines technical sales, account management, and market development across high-performance polymer stock shapes and custom material solutions.

This position requires strong communication skills, industrial sales experience, and the ability to understand customer applications, manufacturing requirements, and material performance needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage customer relationships across assigned territories and industries
  • Identify new business opportunities with OEMs, machine shops, distributors, and industrial manufacturers
  • Promote high-performance engineering plastic stock shapes including rods, plates, and tubular bars
  • Work closely with customers to understand applications, material requirements, and production needs
  • Coordinate with inside sales, production, and engineering teams to support quotations, orders, and technical discussions
  • Conduct customer visits, plant tours, product presentations, and business development meetings
  • Support market expansion initiatives and strategic account growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer demand within target industries
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows

Must have

  • Experience in industrial sales, manufacturing sales, or technical B2B sales
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Existing relationships with OEMs, machine shops, or plastics distributors
