About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting customer relationships and daily commercial operations at Quantum AEP.

This position is responsible for managing quotations, processing orders, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely support.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational discipline, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment serving technically demanding applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations for rods, plates, tubular bars, and custom stock shapes
  • Process customer orders and coordinate order flow with production and shipping teams
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding materials, lead times, pricing, and product availability
  • Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales documentation
  • Work closely with production, planning, and quality teams to communicate customer requirements
  • Follow up on open quotations and support ongoing customer relationship development
  • Assist with inventory checks, order status updates, and delivery coordination
  • Support distributors, machine shops, OEMs, and industrial customers across multiple industries
  • Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and accuracy in all customer interactions
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes, documentation, and customer service workflows

  • Familiarity with engineering plastics such as PEEK, PPS, PEI, PVDF, acetal, or nylon
  • Experience preparing quotations and coordinating production orders
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and inventory management workflows
  • Experience supporting OEMs, machine shops, or industrial customers
  • Understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, or machining terminology
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 manufacturing environments and digitally driven operations
